Post 67 912 starter trouble?

I have a 67 912 porsche engine in my 67 21 micro van. It runs fine, until it heats up. Then I have to wait till it cools down before I can start up again. It only acts up once and a while. Not all the time. Any one have the sam problem? Any recommendations?

When its hot how do you try to start it? Early Porsches typically are hard to start when hot. You have to give it full throttle when trying to start it. Don't pump the gas, just hold it down and the car will after 10 to 20 seconds start.
