I would go to Competition Engineering for used PC's. I bought 1 used big bore PC from them a few years back for $50. They are probably the best 356/912 machine shop anywhere, so you know the PC's are good. Their website is www.competitioneng.com.

Hi Greg,
I am in the middle of a top-end rebuild. I bought a set of used big bore pistons and cylinders (NPR 86mm) to upgrade my 68 912. The previous owner said it was stock 1600 cc.
After removing the engine and then the heads, it turns out it already has an 86mm NPR kit in it! Oh well, the new push rod tubes and seals along with a top end gasket kit from Pelican will cure all my nasty oil leaks. It tuned out that the intake valves were worn out at the stems and the valve springs all needed to be replaced as well(another call to Pelican).
Anyway, if you need 3 cylinders, I have them. Send me an email at shw@worldchat.com.

Adam White.
