Rear seat belts
I've got a '68 912 and I need to install rear seat belts for a safety inspection.
Does anybody have any pictures of the mounting area on their car. I assume there are stock threads somewhere.. these were supplied factory? or were they a dealer ad? Thanks Trevor |

I did get a picture of the belts installed on a '67 912.. I pulled my carpet back and I too have the stock plugs to install the rear belts.

You dont need them for safety inspection.

The 66 does not have available mounting points for rear belts...have any of you put them in? If so, how to you do the inside bolts....they would be almost or into the trans tunnel.

If the mounts aren't there I suspect you would have to have them welded in. You can buy the part at SM: http://www.*********************.com/Rear-Seat-Belt-Mount-911-912-65-68-p24955.html
