Saturday, May 26, the PCA Golden Empire Region is holding the 2nd annual James Dean Memorial Autocross for Charity. It is held at Minter Field in Shafter, California, where James Dean raced.(left on Hwy 99 Shafter exit, north of Bakersfield) Its going to be A LOT of FUN and it is a Zone 8 autocross so it does count for points! There is also going to be a driving instructor to help out newcomers. You can register at www.pca.org/gem and the autocross tech inspection starts at 7 am. The charity ogranizations are Set Free Recovery Homes and MARE (Horses for crippled children). The weather is supposed to be in the 80's so don't be worried about it being too hot.
For more information call Greg Fullmer at 661-831-8600 or email him at gfullm@zeus.kern.org Hope to see you there! ------------------ Joshua Harrison 1968 912 Coupe |
