Engine Mounts

My first post!

I have a 66 912 with the 4 square engine block mounts and 2 square block mounts for the gearbox. I would like to update it to the six block version with the round gearbox mounts. Is this a straight forward? plus what year started using these later versions. Is it post 67/68?

The reason why is that you get less movement (so I've been told)?
is it worth it I hear you ask.

Regards Chickybok (London)
and because I new to this....my chick:

My 67 has the same set up as yours.

When I was restoring it, I replaced all the square mounts with new ones, which were not cheap. The older ones were not that bad on the enigne, so hence I didn't really notice much difference but the gearbox mounts were cracked and split. Putting new ones here really helped.
