Post Big bore kit???

Does anyone have and thoughts on a big bore kit? I'm thinking about doing it since the heads are off. Is there a down side?? I can't think of one!

I had The Maestro install a big bore kit on my 912 engine when he did the rebuild. I live in the mountains of NC, and often have to do 3000 foot pulls up passes at 80mph or more.

So far, I really like it. If you put your foot into it, the gas mileage drops, but you get the extra "bump" you need to really pull hard.

The Maestro is very nice about answering questions and making recommendations. He does nothing but 356/912 engines. You can reach him at maestro@well.com or through his web site at www.hcpresearch.com

Note that I don't work for The Maestro; I've just had excellent service and support before and after the sale.
