Sam1:
Thanks for the great pictures...last time I was in Berlin ('95) I remember major construction around the gate area.
Bill.
p.s. Are those sealed-beam headlights I see?

Yes - sealed beams

Do you like them (specially in Germany) ?

There is only some little construction left around the Reichstag area....

But, as you can see in the "Brandenburger Tor" picture, the gate itself is in restoration process - and by this reason covered......

Hello

Sam your rearend looks a bit to high. Is this a soutstaate car and you smugle goods in the rear compartment ?

The Brandenburger Door restoration had runed into a major desaster as they hired the cheapest company. They only wantet to remove the color and return it to his original look.

Sam1:Yes, indeed, the sealed beams look good. I think that using them in Germany is the equivalent of using the orig. H-1's here in the states. As we say in Calif.: "too trick!"
re: Yesterday's tragedy. I rec'd 2 calls from separate German friends, both to wish condolences. As an example of how tied together we are today, one friend (from Dusseldorf) was speaking to me from his motor home in Italy (on vacation) via cell phone. In the background I'm hearing his TV broadcasting a live (in Italian) report from Los Angeles. I sincerely hope that no one on this BB suffered losses.

To all !

I just returned from the Francfort Autoshow where I have been on Tuesday and Wednsday....

It was a nice and colourful start in Francfort with nice new cars and lots of innovations .....

Around 03:30 pm (local time MEZ) my phone rang and I was informed about the unbelivable Horror that was going on in NYC and DC......

At this time I was located at the Volkswagen stand and I informed some friends at the VW press office and told them about the actual news....

They immideatly stopped all shows and turned down the music.....

After ten minutes anybody knew about the ongoing tragedy in the US.....

People from all nations were packed around internet terminals an TV sets......

A lot of us were crying - not able to understand whats happening....

Then the WTC Towers imploded - followed by the news on the Pentagon impact.....

Never in my life i was that shocked and speakless.....

The whole world is hit by this fanatic terrorists......

Most of us then went to our hotels and stayed the night in front of our TVs trying to understand what happend and trying to find some answers on why , what for and tommorow......

People all over Germany are quiet and feel with the american nation......

In Berlin People are on the streets demonstrating for freedom and placing flowers in front of the US embassy.....

Today the whole official live stopped for 10 minutes to pray and think quiet towards the USA and all the people who lost their lives, friends, familiy members.......

We are friends and we feel deeply with YOU ALL

Hello

Now sometimes the rearend changes the level ?

Depending on your driving style ?

First to check are the rubberelements in the rear axle. Then check if you have problems with your shocks.

Rise your frontaxle to the stock level or drop the rear about the same level.

Have a professional calibrate your axles.

Grüsse,
Roland
