EBAY 912 - good laugh
I haven't ben on ebay for about 6 months or so, so I thought I'd check it out. Well I found an interesting 69 912.
VASTLY IMPROVED BOTH VISUALLY AND MECHANICALLY???? Not really. The only major things they did were change the wheelbase, which was detramental for the 912s, and do some interior and suspention changes. Oh, and 2 batteries. ULTIMATE PORSCHE, FAR SUPERIOR TO ALL THE EARLIER PORSCHES?? Its a 912, not a 911S. Very Rare?? I don't think so. Transmission grinds, I believe that. Handles much better and is much more quiet??? Doesn't handle better, 911s did, but NOT 912s, quiter, maybe a little. 1st year with modern headlights? Hello, what about the 68 912? Same goes for the headrests. Oh, did I mention my 68 had a fresh air blower also. But the 69 did have better ventilation, so ok, 1 good point. Alloy wheels. Can you say FAKE. And the engine could have been dried off before taking the photo! Just thought it was interesting!
