VW type I motor
Just wondering.... My "VW" buddies say that a VW type I motor will bolt up to a '69 912 trans. Does anyone know for sure? Does anyone have any experience with an install of this nature?

Sure, with the right clutch. Only problem is to fill the open gaps between body and shroud and to make a acceleratorcable. Grüsse |

Yeap it's possible but don't wast your time on somthing thats going to be slower than a stock 912 engine. Just go with a Turbo Type 4
