Spring on clutch fork?

The "return" spring on my pedal assembly forces the clutch to the floor. At the transmission end, the clutch fork has a hole in it near the trunnion, and on the tranny a few inches away there is a post that seems to be where a spring would hook up to pull the clutch to its proper resting position. I can't find such an item in any parts catalog or online site.
What do I need to do to get my clutch pedal to sit up straight next to the brake pedal, instead of hang out on the floor? I'd prefer "factory" options as much as possible, but I'd settle for anything that will work.

Thanks,
Victor Wallace

The older models had the spring on the fork, which was superceded with the one on the pedal. Both served the purpose of keeping enough tension on the cable trunion to keep it in the fork.
