Disc brake calipers on 66 912
Recently I was bleeding my brakes with help from my son and in the process, a piece broke out of the left front caliper. I found a terrific buy on a set of calipers on E-bay, but they are VERY rusty, and I cannot remove the bleeder screw. I would like to use this as acore for a rebuilt caliper, but I cannot find a source for rebuilt calipers of this vintage. Help!

Wow! This looks like a real find. I really appreciate your passing this on to me. Although I kept the cars, I have been out of the sports car upkeep for about 15 years. When I was working on them, I had a lot of sources, but now I have to start all over again. Fellow Porsche owners like you are a huge help. Have you had any experience with them? It almost looks to good to be true! Stoddard wanted $200+ for this job.
Many, many thanks, Tom Lewis |

Yea you have no idea how happy i was when i found out that this place had them. I was searching for parts for my subaru and i thought maybe i will just try and see if they have anything for my 912. Anyways i have bought 2 new calipers from here for my 912 and they were perfectly fine. they also have suspension parts too for a bit cheaper!
