Keeping 'em for now...

Are the fuchs smaller? They dont seem to fill the wheel wells as much. This might just be because of the different lighting though.

I made a mistake of sitting down to take a shot, so the angle is funny. I'll try for another pic tomorrow. The new wheels look great!

You need tp paint those FUCHS , they will look even better !

I know , because I did it myself.....

I think that angle looks great, especially with the lights on like that. If you wanted you could probably set up a light at a higher angle and take the picture from the low angle but not use the flash.

Eli,

Congratulations on your 15x6's.

For all those Pelicans out there, Eli is an awesome Porsche guy.

Huge improvement with those old school 15x6s Fuchs, Nice early 912 too!

Eli,
You should finish the wheels to look like '67 4.5's(very little black paint). I think that look fits the best on the early cars!

gotta say I like the steel wheels better- it is a better fit for the old look in
my opinion but the lighter weight is nice....

Thanks for all the comment! SmileWavy
Refinishing the wheels is definately on the list.

Green 912 10-08-2004 05:29 PM

Eli. Let me know when you want to refinish. i got tricks that make it easy and turn out nice!

Jason. I have one steel wheel that I am more than willing to part with.

Eli K 10-08-2004 07:18 PM

I'll probably go ahead and do it while the car's parked for the winter...about the same time we do an engine drop...:D :D
