distributor service parts
Hi everybody,
having trouble finding parts for my distributor. It is a 031 distributor, its full bosch number is 0231 129 031.this was i believe only used on the 1969 ( maybe 68) models. Jim Thompson from http://www.oldvolkshome.com has helped me come up with the replacement parts numbers. they are Points: 1237 013 065 (01 021) Condensor: 1237 330 115 (02 010) Rotor: 1234 332 215 [Was 107) (04 033 [Was 04 012]) Cap: 1235 522 059 (03 013) I can find the cap and rotor on a few sites but not the points and condenser. Any help appreciated Donal

classic and speed parts has everything you need for tune up parts for an 031. (points, cap, rotor, condensor, etc). he even has pertronix pointless ignition for them. call up Will at csp, he will set you right up.

Go ahead and install the pertronix and keep your points and condenser as spare parts (in the car), you'll be very happy.

Thanks,
CSP were very helpful and are sending the parts out to me. The points and condenser are not actually the bosch numbers that match the distributor but I am sure they will do the job. I am not going to go for the pertronix, much to my dads amazement I must be turning into a bit of a traditionalist. Thanks to you both Donal
