oil light

hi! i do rebult of my 912 engine this winter,(new pistons and rings) i start my engine this week end and the oil light stay on... i disconnect the wire to the sensor and my light turn off. what do you think? bubble air arroud the sensor? new sensor?

Well first

I suspect you have a wiring problem. The light should go ON when the cable is disconnected. But do not use your engine to troubleshoot the oil pressure light.

I would recommend that you find an oil pressure GUAGE that you can hook up via a hose - this will help you confirm that you have oil pressure.
