gas tank and lines
I just bought a 912E and need to clean out the gas tank and fuel lines. What is the easiest way to do this? The gas is bad, and the tank needs a good cleaning, so I either get another one(what years of 911 tanks will fit?), or clean mine out. How should I go about cleaning out the fuel lines?
Thanks, Phil |

In general the tank is the issue, it must be removed; some radiator shops clean and recoat fuel tanks, not that expensive I hear, also Eastwood.com sells a kit for the DIY group. I'm not familar with the E so maybe someone else will chime in on tank fit. My fuel lines I blew out with compressed air.

Thanks for the info and the link Eastwood. I have contacted them, and the recommended a 2 step process for the tank. One is a cleaner, and the other is a sealer. The fuel lines should be easy to do once the tank of out of the car.
