Mounts for 912 to 911 conversion

I'm converting a 67 912 to a 911 engine and am looking for the engine mounting brackets that I need to weld in, will I need to get them from a salvage yard? or does somebody sell prefab'd units?

Yes, the junkyard. I found it best to get as much of the frame that the mounts are mounted on. That way you can get good measurements on locations for welding. I think German Parts Dismantlers from Atlanta area are a good source.
Obviously you have to cut the 912 mounts out to put in the 911 motor.
What motor are you going with? I converted a 68 912 to a 2.4 motor and it kicks ass.
Don't forget to upgrade the suspension, especially the rear torsion bars so it can handle the increased weight.
