I'm digging up this old thread because I think I have a bad coil.
A Bosch #25, speced for my 2.7L. Connected it and it ran rough, real rough. Wired correctly, same as my other Bosch coil, which is working fine. Checked the resistance and found primary at .735 ohms. Secondary 746 ohms. Thats right, seven-hundred-forty-six ohms. I've looked for a spec for this coil, can't find one. I appreciate any help, Edit: I didn't realize this was from the little read 912 forum. I'm posting the same question on the 911 forum where it belongs.
