				 | Bursch exhaust?
Hi folks- Have any of you installed a Bursch exhaust on your 912? If so, what's your opinion of it? Is it the kind of job that a non-wrenchhead such as myself can attempt? Can it be installed without the car being raised using common tools? Please advise.

I don't really like Bursch, but for a bolt on unit its.....ok. Yes with basic tools and a jack for lifting, jack stands and a little skill it can be done. It is mechanics...... Chas. 356 912

I use a vintage "Thunderbird header coupled with a Magnaglow SS 304 muffler with a Stainless steel tip. I stumbled on the header by accident and fabed up everything else through trial and error. The header is the key, in my opinion it breaths the engine better, unfortunately they are unavailable. I found mine on eBay. Bursch for most is the only practical choice, although I think Dansk "check spelling", makes a 912 / 356 system but I have no knowledge of their system. I like my system because my cars run better with it...but it's a custom system. Best of luck, Chas. 356 912

I run a Dansk I bought it in Germany a few years back Very pleased I have also a few Bursh Exhausts as well they are good no doubts there.. Pays your money ... I am aware there are exhausts that can sap power at certain ranges.. I am happy with the Dansk as it's a similar set up to the orginal and I am happy..
