912E Smog Pump Rubber Pulley damper

I am looking for a source to buy the failed rubber damper, (bushing??) on my 912E smog pump pulley bracket assembly. Any help in finding a source would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the help

Andy:
Is it part of the "W" assembly seen below?

It is on the left side of the shaft which you have indicated in the iso. I ordered that same part "W" from Stoddard and it did not come with the rubber damper which is at the end of the shaft.

Andy:
Only suggestion I have is to take your part to a local VW dealer & tell him you need the rubber isolator for it - lots of VW vans with TypeIV motors used this same setup.
Good luck,
Bill.

Bill, Thanks for the tip, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try, I've tried most everything.
Andy

Nige-912E, Does the whole assembly have the rubber damper attached to it? What is the condition of the rubber damper? What is the cost for the whole thing and/or just the rubber damper?
Andy

Hi Andrew

I'll have to dig it out and check, I removed it from my car when it was imported in 2000 so I haven't looked at it for 6 years.

Will report back shortly
