Lost Brake Parts

When my son and I went to pick up our 912, the left rear wheel would not roll (the brake pad was rusted to the rotor). In order to get the car to move out of the seller's garage, I removed the pads. To do this I had to remove the pins that hold the pad in place and the little sheet metal piece that keeps the pads off the rotor. I have rebuilt the calipers, purchased new pads and had the rotors turned. As I started to put the rear brakes back together, I cannot find the two locating pins and the sheet metal piece that keeps the brake pads off the rotor. Does anyone have these parts or know where I might find them? Our host only has these parts for 69 and later. Thanks for your help.

used pieces and some new, both seem to know the business.

Also, if you have a brake supply shop in your area (i.e. small shops that sell only brake parts to repair shops) they can easily match the parts from your other caliper. Most of these ATE brake parts are reasonably common and are usually found fitted to other makes.

Search Beck Arnley 084-0355 hardware kit &/or:

And....note the other post by 'lep' regarding brake flex lines.

Thanks for the help. You guys are a great resource. I called the local Advance Auto (they carry Beck Arnley parts) and they will have the brake parts in a couple of days for little money. Once again, thanks for your help.

BTW, I am installing new flex lines for all four wheels.
