1968 912 front control arm bushings
I am pricing some work and parts costs for replacing all of the bushings, etc. in the front suspension, and apparently there is no listing for a bushing for the front of the control arms. I understand you can get around this by using the part listed for another year(?). thx

The bushings were originally welded to the control arms. They come as one piece. To use the newer type bushings the old ones had to be burned off. Or you buy the original type control arms with the bushing attached. Or update the front suspension with a newer type suspension to be able to use the new bushings as they wear out.

Just this last weekend I help replace the bushings on a ’69 with the Classic and Speed Parts bushings. They are the same on a ’68. Great product; follow the directions. Pelican is caring replacement bushings and Elephant Racing makes them too. The bushings mount to your existing control arms.
