912E heat exchangers

Hi,

I'm posting here for a friend of mine...

He is looking for a set of heat exchangers for his 912E (the one with the 914 2.0 engine in it)

Does anybody know if these are available and/or where to get these?

Any leads are welcome
Thanks

Cheers,

Jeroen

Hello Jeroen,

The Heat Exchangers, like the Thermal Reactors and engine cooling sheet metal are specific to the 923/912E model.

All of the above items are very rare and very expensive when available. Try posting your request at these sites...

I just pulled a nice rust free set of 1976 912E exchangers from a motor. The car was a super clean San Diego native. It had a good little fuel line burn but it really did not hit the underside, did not get the interior etc. The exchangers have some soot on them, but are in perfect functional condition. The body is being built into a race car, so you might get passed at Willow by a 912E!!! I can send photos if you like.
