what is the best way to free up a seized brake caliper thanx

I used an inexpensive air cylinder (from WW Grainger), connected to the caliper with hard tubing, filled and bled with brake fluid (or any liquid, just not air) and then compressed air cylinder with large C-clamp or vise. If one side pushes in too far, I used smaller c-clamp on that side to prevent pushout until other side starts moving. Use a bucket to catch fluid once calipers become free.

i left it attached to the car. leave the pad in on the side that is not frozen and remove the pad for the frozen one. then press the brake pedal. if they are both frozen place something to block the cylinder from completely coming out on both sides. once they're about 90% out, you should be able to pull them out by hand
