Unhappy Looking for a 912 67/68, please read...

Hi everybody!?

I am wanting to get a 67/8 912 anybody selling? mechanically good condition/ engine work upgardes are ok etc, does not need to be show!! at all! paint can be worn thin, interior may need work etc. Heres the thing( stay with me) i am in Sydney Australia! so i would prefer RHD (stay with me) however a cheap LHD in north america(west coast) would be ok, as would convert to RHD ...not an unusual method/site here in Australia! ( stay with me!) the thing is you guys in north america dont understand how lucky you are when it comes to getting cars there. You can get a great 912 for under 10,000! the closest i have seen here in about 2 years is a ****ty red 912 with the wrong bumpers, wrong interior and in need of a transmission rebuild!! and guess what he wants for it...24,000 dollars! and thats "cheap" yeah you heard correct, but i will say it again 24,000 dollars!! These cars along with the early 911's are so redicuously overpriced here its quite sad!! But get this, this guy who is obviously obtuse ( as the market value of 912's here has actually a red book value of between 11-16,000 dollars) anyways has been trying to sell this car for at least 2 years now!! ...so you see my point! who has a car for sale for 2 years!! So if anybody has one to part with in North America or Australia! at a reasonable price ( i really dont want somebody from my own country trying to sell me one for something stupid like 30,000 dollars for a car that is worth 15,000 on a good day like most are here! but if somebody has something let me know and maybe we can work something out!? open to all offers and ideas!! all countries!!

Cheers!!

I doubt you can find a great 912 under $10,000 anymore. A good 912 under $20,000 and a great 912 around $25,000 to $30,000. A Targa even higher.

However, you might get lucky and find one that's not too dear.
