912E outside mirror question
 

I am considering a 912E that has this electric mirror on the driver's side:

911 mirror.

The passenger side is NLA.

Can these be purchased and installed so I would have dual mirrors (must have) and they would match each other? Are the footprint of the two mirrors (the driver's side being replaced with the replacing driver's side mirror)? How difficult would the procedure be?

Of course, I am assuming what is good for the '76 911 is also good for the '76 912E.

The other choice would be search the auto grave yards for a passenger side mirror, but I like the "aero" design, so that wouldn't be a problem.
