Wiper Motor Struggles

We have gotten most of the wiring sorted and with new splades in the engine compartment. Unfortunately though, the wiper motor seems to have seized up.

I'm having the hardest time trying to drop the thing out. I thought i might be able to just pull the motor, but its really tight under the windshield.

So far i've pulled the nuts of the wiper hubs, figuring ill have to pull the whole assembly. What else is there to pull in order to get this thing out?

Hopefully ill be able to repair the motor. It looks like the PO wired in a second 15amp fuse in the wiper assembly. I havent sourced if its for the washer motor or the wiper motor. Perhaps the wiper motor is the issue which the 'remedy' was to splice in a fuse. UGH, hack wiring is such a PITA!

cheers,

-Jeff

nevermind. i figured it out, it was just a little stuck. i had to pull the speedo and clock to get at the two small bolts on the back and it came out.

now its time to clean it up and have at it with a multimeter and see whats going on with it..
