Throttle linkage Upgrade?
Anyone got a source for instructions on the installation of these packages? I have some parts that came with the car but not sure i have them all and it looks like I will have to relocate the oil canaster and the ignition coil as well as put a hole in the fan housing. If not instructions, pics will suffice, I can figure it out from there. Thanks in advance for any info!

Dino:
Isn't that a VW setup? If so, it would be much easier to adapt your current Porsche linkage since the VW crossbar linkage requires a throttle cable coming through the fan housing which, as you mentioned, will require relocation of the oil filter cannister. |

Hmmm....adapt present linkage? You mean using the uninstalled parts I have and just replacing some parts into the already existing mounted brackets and such? It does seem a little crazy to relocate those items just for throttle linkage unless it was already modified. I do think the new would look good either in place of the existing or modified. Thanks for the reply by the way!

By the existing setup, I was referring to the stock Porsche linkage which I'm assuming is on your 912. Just to clarify, are you putting a VW engine in the Porsche? If not, why do you want to go to that type of center-pull linkage? I think that you'd be hard pressed to beat the originally engineered design. Even if you need to modify the angles/lengths of the threaded rods which go from the arms of the linkage to the actual throttles, it (IMO) is still considerably easier than re-engineering something like the system pictured.
