Greetings, You must have the 68' style. It has spring loaded pins that hold it in. It is called a break away mirror. Instead of slicing your scalp away during an accident, it is supposed to break away. I pry them off carefully with a screwdriver style scraper that I have. The pins are on the left and right sides of the mirror. Good Luck, JMB

Hello Just use your hand to pray it out on the arm then the plate has two screws holding it on the roof. Inserting the base is more interessting you have to use a screwdriver to prload the springloaded plungers. For practiceing get to the next junkjards looking for old Volksawagen or Vollvo, Saab, Citroen,... Grüsse | ||

				 | Glued-On Mirror
Does any one know how to remove the rear view mirror mount that is glued to the windshield glass without damaging the glass?? The PO glued the mirror too high and the sun visors hit it every time and I have to reset the mirror. It drives me nuts. Thanks, RonD
