Hi Guys, I want to install a battery in the stock plastic battery tray and also use the plastic battery cover that was originally equipt on my car. Anyone out there using this setup? If so, what brand and model battery is it. Thanks, Mike

Mike,
I actually got rid of my battery cover and strap, but the battery that I'm using now still fits in the plastic try, and is just a tiny bit taller than the battery that was originally in there, so it might work for you. It's a Kirkland 207150. It's got twice the cold cranking amps as the original, and I bought it for about $35. You might want to just measure your battery and then go shopping for a new battery. It doesn't really matter if it's listed as a replacement for the car as long as it has comparable or greater CCAs and will attach to the car. Hope this helps. Andrew |
