902/14 Gear case

I have looked and looked to find what this gear case is from. It is stamped "902/14". I have not seen this number in any of my books. I know it should be from a 912, and it is magnesium. A '69?
Any help would be great.
Thanks, Rob

I have a 902/02. It looks no different than the 902/1. Wonder why the even had different numbers?

The casting # is 901.301.101.2R
The serial # is 5091436

The 901.301.101.2R is the part number not a casting number.

The 5091436 "5" I don't know It is not a number from the factory. for the first number there should be only 1-4 "1" would be for a 4 cylinder car, "2" for a 110hp 6 cylinder, "3" for a 130hp 6 cylinder and "4" for a 160hp 6 cylinder. It should be 1091436

The next number "0" says that it is a 4 speed.

The next number "9" says that it is a 1969 model year transaxle.

The next numbers "1436" Sequential numbering.

the 902/1 has the 12mm input shaft & regular diff
the 902/02 has the 14mm input shaft & the simplified diff AFAIK

5091436 is a good number, thanks.
The 5 indicates it was for a 4 cylinder while a 7 indicates a 6 cylinder application; this distinction was from 1969
The 0 indicates it was a 4 speed, 1 for a 5 speed, other varieties also
The 9 is for 1969 model year as Jaems says
