body work

I need to replace both floor pans and also the tunnel. My question is if I cut both the floor pans and the tunnel out will It weaken the car to the point where it will sag. I was thinking about making a brace for both doors (the doors are off the car) and run the brace from the upper door hinge to the door lock. What you think? I will welcome any suggestions. Thanks

Yes I would brace both door openings and before you take the tunnel out some how tie the front to the back so the measurement does not change in the center of the car. If your rockers are in good shape that will help if not brace the crap out of it.
Just my 2 cents.
