carpet and bucket seats question
 
so where is a good place too get good carpet? i want carpet that isn't that felt stuff,good thick carpet. also i'm going to be putting in racing buckets. so do i have too take the cover off the underside of car too do this? or is it just unbolt the old buckets and bolt in the new?

Any of your local shops can get you carpet. Since you are not going to use what was original to the car. But keep that felt stuff so you can use it to cut your patterns.

Also, if you have or buy the right adapter brackets for the seats you want to use. Then they would bolt right in. However, I am not sure what you mean by racing seats. There are a lot of cheap seats out there that the kids put in their Honda's. But these seats would make the Porsche look cheap also. By the way, there is no cover on the underside of the car. With the exception of the one under the master cylinder.

GTS has seats and also brackets that will fit Porsches in leather or cloth. However, they are more period correct and are not cheap.

If you are looking to build a Renegade. You might also try the 912 BBS under the Renegade section. They can probably help you more with some of these changes.
