I wonder...

The 67's have a front ' wing ' window that can be opened. My 69 is solid. I wonder if a 67 window frame might be able to be fitted in the 69 - making it much nicer in the California summers. I would not replace the whole door for this, but the window frame looks to be the same size. Anyone done this? Any thoughts appreciated.

Yes, it can be done. It is simple. Just find an early door glass frame and it is a cinch. A direct bolt on. I have seen it on two 69's.

Tom,

Sounds like a trip to Parts Heaven might be in order for this.

I would like to do this also on my 69.
