Who's done the T4 swap?

It'll be project time soon - when racing season starts in February I want swap my 912 engine with a T4. Who has done this swap? I would really appreciate some information and advice - I know I will need a custom engine mount (Otto said a combination of a 412 and 912 engine mount). As far as the rest of it goes, I am pretty clueless, but I don't think that it is too difficult. Thanks guys! -

And Happy Holidays!

Efrain,

Go to the ShopTalkForum.com, Type 4rum. Lots of good T4 info here. Several 912 owners who have done T4 conversions have posted their experiences. Do a search for 912, then search for your other questions. The things you must deal with include engine cooling and exhaust, which are discussed in the posts.

Good Luck,
Mike
