Novice needs help!

Hello folks. I have recently acquired a 1968 912 targa soft-window and have begun on the daunting task of deconstructing to ferret out all the rust spots - and body are there a lot I have a truly basic question here about taking the doors of the hinges, as I am having the darndest of times. Any suggestions, help would be greatly appreciated. In addition to the upper and lower pins, how does one disassemble the middle little latch/ swingarm to the door so that it can be completely separated. Thanks so much...

I have never taken the henge apart just take it off one side or the other. The door stay should have a carter pin in the pin that holds it in place. Should come right out. Just a note of caution these projects can get overwhelming I would only disassemble what you are ready to work on. Good luck got any pictures

Thanks for your help. Just posted some pics of the undercarriage in the thread "to restore or not to restore". I am in quite a dilemma at this point.
