Ignition woes...

Hello everyone...
recently cleaned, reassemble and installed my 912 engine.. corrected some wiring problems. found fuel pump, condenser and points to be faulty. replaced P&C.. no fuel to carbs. noticed that when i turned the key to start (3rd) position nothing. then the key sprung back to 2nd position or run, the starter kicked in.. did not disengage. Pulled the ignition and reconfigured the wires.. no luck. i think i have an extra switch somewhere, maybe this will solve the problem.

any help WBA....
Keith

This is the wiring for the ignition switch. Your wiring looks a little off.
