I was at the 911S registry website, they are having a breakfast in El Segundo on the 9th as well. El Segundo seems to be a popular place for early Porsche's this Saturday. I guess if you see (or hear) any of those six-cylinder Porsche's on you way to Pelican, that would be why. (I can think of at least one 912 that wouldn't mind getting in a drag race with a 911S...if you've seen his engine, you know who I'm talking about).

130 vs 200+hp, I don't think so. I've been (and driven) in 911s's and wow, they are fast. Not that mein12's isn't fast!

Efrain and you 912 people,
If you feel a little bored at PP, come on over to the Early 911S Registry gathering. All Porsches welcome (we have bigger donuts)

Lot's of laughs guys.
I have beat many early S cars on and off track. Not with this particular motor. I would still try anyway just to see.
In any case, I am working on a 2.5 liter 6 motor that will wake the dead. Looks like summer 2003 will be fun. I am going to put it in a 67 912 roller. Wish me luck!

See you Saturday Guys, JMB....

Hi!

We had about a dozen representatives from the SoCal group show up. Pelican Parts were gracious hosts and gave us really good deals on the items we purchased. It looked like everyone had a good time.
Regards, JMB
