Well, I'm taking the plunge this weekend. I plan to lower the rear by an inch or so. The car sits too high because it was a 911, and naturally the 912 motor I installed weighs less. I've got the Pelican 101 Projects to go by, but does anyone have any general advise or suggestions? I'm concerned about the difficulty of separating the spring plate from the torsion bar. I'm also concerned about measuring the increments of change per spline adjustment. I bought a protracter for the latter.
Thanks as always. |

It's real fun. There is a tech article on this website. But generally one spline clockwise on inside and one spline counter at the springplate lowers it 9MM So I went 4 inside and four outside oposite and lowered it about 1 inch or 30MM. Good luck
