Replace Tach with 911 Tach
 

Hello all:

I have run a search on this subject but came up with nothing; both here and the 912BBS.

Has anyone replaced their 912 tach with a 911 tach without sending it out for recalibration? Were you able to use a progamable in-line tach module to convert the signal for the 911 6 cylinder tach?

I did read were someone had taken a tach that is adjustable (4-6-8 cyl) and replaced the guts of the 911 tach with it.
