bent Fuch

Hi

Have you guys ever mended a bent Fuch. Is it possible? My PO must of hit a curb quite hard. The rest are fine. I'm based in the Uk so its quite hard to get a good, straight single Fuch.

The wheel is not cracked, its just got a flat spot on the outside rim.

Many Thanks

Chickybok

Greetings,

I have brought a couple of rims back from the dead. As long as the wheel does not crack you should be OK. If the wheel is already polished it will make things easier since you will not have to reanodize the repaired area. Just straighten, sand, and polish.
I use a leather hammer when working with aluminum. It will not dent the rim any further. Hope this helps. If you have no luck I am certain that I can find a rim here in CA.
Regards, JMB
