69 Targa rear seat straps, I need a pic!
I am recovering the carpeted part of the rear seat backs in my targa and notice there was some sort of strap attached to the back that is now gone, can someone post a pic of this strap or let me know how it works so I can make some new ones. I think this was used to hold the seat back from falling forward? but I dont know exactly how it worked

Craig It was a black leather strap at the top right of the drivers side rear seat and the top left of the passanger rear seat side. This was atached to the back of the seat and it had the female part of a button on it and the male part was on the back rail that holds down your rear shelf. If you look at the rail you will probably find the button part I am talking about.There was also a male button snap on the back of the seat so you could snap it down flat when you had the seats down. What are you using to recover the back sides of the seats?

Mine look/feel like a heavy canvas, probably have been replaced??? Any how here's what they look like....
