Porsche Parts Trivia

Hi All,
While reading my Porsche parts manual, I came across some notations that read like this:

oil cooler
for
(S) (D)

I've been all through the manual and can't find a key for what S or D refer to! Anyone have a clue? If you can answer this, you are officially declared a true Porsche fanatic!!

Bill

My longshot guess: It's from a 356/912 catalog & refers to Super (S) and Damen (D). Or maybe references to footnotes...or.... Where's Roland when you need him?

He got this off of the PET CD and it refers to Sweden and Deutschland.......

I know because I have one of those and e-mailed the guy in the UK who sells them.
