Porsche 912 crank case chip . Please look, please help

Hi guys please take a look at my crank case as there are a couple of small chips either side of the bearing journal . Can you give me your thoughts if you feel it needs a repair or not ?

Those are typical when a crankshaft breaks. The fix: the #2 bearing shells can be reversed after new bearing tang slots are cut in the opposite side of the bearing saddle.

This is not a problem as long as the case still measures with in spec both for bearing saddle diameters (for bearing 'crush') and alignment.
