It is possible. There are rebuild kits available if you want to tackle the job yourself or there are a variety of reasonably priced rebuilders who will return them to like-new condition. Off-hand, I don't remember their names, but if you don't get any replies here, try www.912bbs.org.

I had Goldline Brakes in Seattle rebuild my 912 calipers. $89.00 each and they are perfect! doesn't get much better than that!

They are easy to do yourself with the kits.

Good move as when in comes to brakes you pretty well do everything as a set.
Should have get the front kits at the same time

doh! ( slapping forehead) i know i should have bought kits for the front as well. but the car has bein down for a while and i'm just itching too get her back on the road. living in canada our driving season is so short, and i work alot as well. i'm not sure but i might just say screw it and possibly not drive this year at all. and just gut the whole brake system front to back and rebuild it, not sure yet.

But in real time its more like 1 day to take the stuff out, clean the caliper and rebuild them and one day to put the new stuff in and bleed them. Decide what you want to do, get the stuff (fm PP at half the price then in Canada), get all the procedure and away you go. Btw it was the first time that I did a brake job, it is not hard. If you decide to do it, send me a PM so I'll send you what I order. The trick is to have everything before you start.
