matching numbers?
 
Hi,Probably a dumb question but how can I tell if my 68 912 has matching numbers?

Kardex
 
Porsche recorded the numbers in their Kardex file for each car, and now has the data computerized. For a fee, Porsche will issue a Certificate of Authenticity includes info from those files. At Rennsport Reunion IV, Porsche staff had the Kardex info on a laptop, and owners who gave them their VIN were allowed to jot down most of the info for free.
