Angry Gas Cap Warning

The last thing I would think of checking is my , probably original, gascap. While filling up my car recently I noticed the gas cap gasket had a 1/4" chunk missing.

I ordered a new rubber gas cap gasket from PP and installed it tonight.

Much to my surprise as I tried to remove the old gasket it fell apart in big sections. If any one of them got in the gas tank it could have caused a problem if it blocked the gas flow.

Be forewarned..check your gas cap gasket now!

Thanks,
Ron
