Original Front Spoiler?

Is this original for '68? It's made from fiberglass. I've seen an exact duplicate on the '68 912 SWT that dealer Daniel Schmitt in St Louis (very nice car btw) has for sale, but don't know if it's made out of steel or fiberglass.

No, the 0riginals were steel, and only on the 911S. The front down force will make the rear much lighter. It is best to have the rear spoiler with a front one. Though the 912 would generally not make the speed that would really need one unless you are racing.
