1967 912 Targa
|
Would anyone happen to have a source for the small aluminum T bolts that bolt down a stainless deck lid grill? It is shaped like a small key with a hole in the flat section of the head for the threaded rod that ties the grill together. I am in the Sacramento area. Pelican only has the newer plastic T bolts for the replacement plastic grill. The car is a 1967 Targa. Thanks for your help!

Threaded shackle for early 912 / 911 aluminum grilles
It's still available from the factory; recently they arranged for a new batch to be manufactured. Porsche Classic reported in June 2012 that the part, #901 559 451 21 , was expected to ship from the factory supplier. After the factory receives parts, they send out the parts to the warehouses that ordered these parts.
