'76 912E flywheel question???Help??

I am replacing my clutch, pressureplate, and all the bearings in my '76 912E. This car has a 2.0 engine. The size is 215 mm. I already bought Sachs 2.0 215mm clutch and preassureplate. I was going to have my flywheel just milled down but it is too bad...I need a new one....I would like to know if I could buy a Sachs flywheel from VW motor works...the size is 215mm but it says it is for a 1800 cc engine....What would the difference be? A guy at VW motor works told me that it would work but there is a beter one out there...any help? The Sachs from the VW place are also remanufactured. I am just trying to save $300 if I can. Thanks

It should work. If you can actually compare the two side-by-side and check any offsets,thickness, etc. it'd be a plus. When I had my 912E I bought everything I could from VW aftermarket sources without any problems.
