Need help on 1966 porsche 912

Im looking to buy a 1966 porsche 912 but the owner says that when he starts the car up on cold start it fires right up and running good til it warms up it starts smoking and bogging out he has a 70's era 911 2.7 spec motor in it! what Can be the problem with this car???

I think you'll find more help on this problem with this question in the 911 forum.

The tongue in cheek response is the problem is that it has a 2.7l engine it. Beyond that, it could have bad valve guides, broken head studs, a clogged fuel distributor. There's all kinds of potential issues. Unless your intention is to either rebuild the engine or return it to stock and put a 912 engine back in it, unless the car is a total steal, I would suggest you keep shopping.
